Stephanie Langdon holds a Bachelors of Professional Studies in Hospitality Management from the New York Institute of Technology. She graduated with a 3.98 GPA and served as NYIT’s 2010 student commencement speaker, addressing over 12,000 people at graduation. Stephanie has held multiple leadership positions at NYIT including Resident Advisor, Peer Advisor, and Executive Assistant to the Director of Student Advancement Programs for the School of Management. Stephanie has also held a position at The Ritz-Carlton, Central Park as their 2008 catering and sales intern and at Classé Catering as a server from 2004-2007.
In addition, Stephanie serves as an independent social event planner for numerous events including weddings, charity events, the Taste of Ebony held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City in 2006, the Jackie Robinson Foundation Awards Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 2007, the Food Network’s New York Food & Wine Festival Charity Event in 2008, and NYIT’s Women, Work & the Art of Savoir Faire: Business Sense & Sensibility Book Signing and Auditorium opening in 2009. Stephanie co-coordinated NYIT’s School of Management’s first Honors Gala in 2009 and has continued to produce this annual event on a spectacular level. Her next upcoming event will be a Business Leadership Conference for WEL Support Services that will take place in Park City, Utah in September 2010.
Stephanie continues to increase her knowledge by pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from NYIT.
