Crystal Langdon

The eldest daughter of a family with 12 children that moved nearly every two years due to her father's computer profession, Crystal gained her "voice" at an early age. Case in point: While playing a spirited game of soccer at her middle school a young chap with an endearing smile ran into her, literally. Her resolve after dusting herself off on the field that day? "I'll get him." And in a way, she did. Soon after her high school graduation Crystal married her soul mate, George, that tenacious soccer player.

Within five years they were the proud parents of three young children, two girls and one boy. Since marrying George over 24 years ago, they have lived on the same street in rural upstate New York. As soon-to-be empty nesters, they currently live in a 200 year-old farmhouse and are in the midst of renovating it one room at a time. In her spare time Crystal loves to garden and is very active in her community. Recently, she decided to act on her life-long desire to learn how to play the piano and started taking lessons again after a nearly two decade hiatus from the instrument.

Professionally, Crystal's career has revolved around helping others. She has held her Series 7, 63 and 24 since 1998. In 2002, she gained her Certified Financial Planner TM (CFP), Registered Principal, and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) designations.

In 2001 she founded Crystal Clear Finances, Inc., to help educate and lead others to financial independence with the understanding that the proper alignment and practical guidance of finances creates freedom for individuals to live in the manner in which they desire. Crystal's team listens to their clients' financial goals and objectives and then develops a customized, step-by-step approach to attain those goals. Crystal Clear Finances, Inc. has assisted individuals from around the world, of all income levels and in all stages of life.

Committed to her community, Crystal has taught the First National Endowment of Financial Education for high school students in the Northeast. She has served on the board of directors for Koinonia HealthCare (Albany, NY), and for Faith Financial, a values-based investment firm. Additionally, she has been the Treasurer on two church boards and a trustee on another, and served as gifting coordinator for New Yorkers Family Research Foundation, and for New Yorkers Constitutional Freedoms. Because Crystal is also committed to helping our younger citizens, Crystal Clear Finances, Inc. offers a scholarship program at a local high school, and Crystal is honored to often be asked to be the guest speaker at local high schools for "College/Career Days."

Crystal has contributed to several publications and has authored numerous articles for the New Yorkers Family Research Foundation. She made significant contributions to Nothing But a Jar of Oil (2009) by Patrice Tsague, and is currently co-authoring another book with Mr. Tsague.

Additionally, Crystal has been hosting a financial radio program on several stations for the past eight years. She also provides a live weekly Market Update Report for the capital area region of New York. Crystal's radio programs are available for download via podcasting on www.crystalclearfinances.com.

Crystal was honored to have won the Nehemiah Project International Ministries (NPIM) Business Plan Award Competition in 2008, and is a certified Biblical Entrepreneurship Teacher for NPIM. Most recently, Crystal founded the Business Leadership Network, a group of entrepreneurs that meets bi-weekly to encourage, equip and assist one another.

Crystal is a gifted motivational speaker and founded Crystal Clear Conversations in response to speaking requests. She has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences including being one of the keynote speakers at the International Apostolic Ministries Convention in Dover, FL, in 2009. She was a presenter at the National Broker Dealer Conference in Florida (2006-2008), and provides a presentation and presence during Legislative Day in Albany, NY (2006-present). She also hosts numerous community seminars all centered around her true passion to use her "voice" and knowledge to help others.
